The Story Behind skin4gear

Hi, I’m Dalibor — founder and maker behind skin4gear. The photo you see here is my everyday reality: designing patterns, testing small details, and hand-sewing each piece so the final cover fits a specific lens model precisely.

I use neoprene because it simply works in the field. It helps protect your lens from scuffs and minor impacts, offers partial thermal insulation, and adds practical camouflage for outdoor photography. My goal isn’t a generic “sleeve” — it’s a purpose-built cover made for one exact lens, so controls stay accessible and everything feels right in real use.

skin4gear is a small workshop with a strong focus on detail. If something isn’t perfect, I adjust the pattern and improve the next version. And if you don’t see your lens in my catalog yet, just send me the model — in many cases we can quickly confirm what’s possible and how soon I can add it.
