Terms and Conditions of the skin4gear Online Store
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the rights and obligations between the Seller and the Buyer when concluding a purchase contract through the online store at skin4gear.com (the “E-shop”).
I. Basic Provisions
1) Seller

(hereinafter the “Seller”)
2) Buyer
A Buyer is a person who concludes a purchase contract with the Seller through the E-shop, either as:
- a Consumer – a natural person not acting within the scope of their business, or
- a Business Buyer – a person acting within the scope of their business activity (B2B).
3) Subject Matter
The subject of the purchase is goods offered in the E-shop, in particular handmade neoprene protective and camouflage lens covers and related accessories.
4) Governing Law
The contractual relationship is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Consumer rights arising from mandatory provisions remain unaffected.
II. Product Information and Prices
1) Product Information
Product information, including compatibility with specific lens models, is provided on individual product pages in the E-shop. Photos may be illustrative.
2) Prices
Prices are shown in the E-shop and are final. The Seller is not a VAT payer.
3) Costs of Distance Communication
The Buyer bears the costs of distance communication (internet/phone) and these do not differ from the basic rates charged by the Buyer’s provider.
III. Orders and Conclusion of the Purchase Contract
1) Order Placement
The Buyer places an order via the E-shop (shopping cart). Before submitting the order, the Buyer can review and modify the entered details.
2) Conclusion of the Contract
The purchase contract is concluded when the Seller confirms the order (typically by e-mail). The Seller reserves the right to refuse an order in justified cases (e.g., an obvious pricing error, objective unavailability of materials, etc.).
3) Handmade Production
Goods are handmade; minor variations in shade, material texture, or stitching are not considered defects if they do not prevent normal use.
IV. Customer Account
1) Registration
The Buyer may create a customer account. The Buyer must protect their login details and is responsible for any misuse.
2) Account Termination
The Seller may terminate an account especially in cases of misuse or long-term inactivity.
V. Payment and Delivery
1) Payment Methods
The currently available payment methods are shown in the checkout process.
2) Delivery
Delivery methods, estimated delivery times, and shipping prices are displayed in the cart and may also be listed on the “Shipping Policy” page.
- In-stock items are typically dispatched within 2 business days.
- For made-to-order items, dispatch time may be longer; the Buyer will be informed in the order confirmation or individually.
3) Transfer of Risk
The risk of damage passes to the Buyer upon receipt of the goods.
4) Delivery Details
The Buyer must provide correct delivery details. If the Buyer needs to change the delivery address, they should contact the Seller without undue delay.
5) Shipments Outside the EU
For shipments outside the EU, import fees (customs duties, VAT, and carrier fees) may apply and are borne by the Buyer unless stated otherwise.
VI. Withdrawal from the Contract (Consumer)
This section applies only to a Buyer who is a Consumer.
1) Statutory Right to Withdraw within 14 Days
The Consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of receiving the goods.
2) skin4gear Extra: 30-Day Return
In addition to the statutory period, the Seller allows the Consumer to return goods within 30 days from receipt, provided the goods are undamaged, clean, and in their original condition.
3) How to Withdraw
To withdraw, the Consumer may contact the Seller by e-mail at: info@skin4gear.com (recommended: include the order number).
4) Returning the Goods
The Consumer shall send the goods to:

We recommend packaging the goods to prevent damage during transport.
5) Refunds
The Seller will refund the Consumer without undue delay, no later than 14 days from withdrawal, typically after receiving the returned goods or proof that they have been sent.
6) Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are borne by the Consumer unless agreed otherwise. If the return is due to the Seller’s error (e.g., wrong item shipped), the Seller will propose a solution including shipping.
7) Exceptions
The Consumer cannot withdraw especially in the case of goods:
- made to the Consumer’s specific request or clearly personalised (i.e., outside the standard E-shop offering).
VII. Rights from Defective Performance (Claims / Complaints)
1) Liability for Defects (Consumer)
The Seller is liable to the Consumer that the goods are free from defects upon receipt. The Consumer may notify a defect that appears within 24 months from receipt.
2) Handling Time
Consumer complaints will be handled without undue delay, no later than 30 days from being made, unless the Seller and the Consumer agree on a longer period.
3) How to Make a Claim
Submit your claim by e-mail to info@skin4gear.com. We recommend including:
- order number,
- description of the defect,
- photos/video (if possible).
The Seller will confirm receipt of the claim and agree on the next steps.
4) Remedies
Depending on the nature of the defect, the Buyer may request repair, replacement, a reasonable discount, or withdrawal from the contract, where permitted by law.
5) Business Buyers (B2B)
For Business Buyers, rights from defective performance are governed by general legal rules; consumer protection provisions do not apply.
VIII. Delivery of Notices and Communication
Contractual communication is carried out primarily electronically (e-mail). The Buyer is responsible for ensuring the provided e-mail address is correct and functional.
IX. Personal Data Protection
Personal data processing is governed by a separate “Privacy Policy” document published in the E-shop.
X. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution (ADR)
If the Buyer is a Consumer and a dispute arises that cannot be resolved amicably, the Consumer may contact the out-of-court dispute resolution body:

XI. Final Provisions
1) These Terms are valid and effective as of 29 Dec 2025.
2) The Seller may amend these Terms; the version effective at the time of submitting the order is binding for the Buyer.
3) If any provision is invalid or ineffective, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
